Afternoon & Matinee Las Vegas Shows

Not every good show in Las Vegas starts at nine. Matinee and brunch seatings are the city's most underused trick: the same production, often at a lower price, in the part of the day when the Strip is too hot to be outside anyway — and your evening is still completely free.

Why book an afternoon show in Las Vegas?

Three reasons keep coming up. It leaves the night open, which matters if you already have dinner or a late reservation. It is usually cheaper than the evening performance of the same show. And it is far easier with children or with anyone who has been awake since a 6am flight.

What is a Las Vegas brunch show?

A brunch seating pairs the performance with a meal, which turns an afternoon into a complete plan rather than a gap to fill. Check the individual show page for exactly what the ticket includes — the food component varies by production.

Is an afternoon show a good idea in summer?

From late spring through early autumn, a mid-afternoon show is genuinely practical: it puts you in an air-conditioned room during the worst of the day and returns you to the Strip when it is survivable again.

Where do these shows play?

All addresses are Las Vegas, Nevada. Doors typically open 45 minutes before showtime.
