Sass Herass has been shaking things up with Rocklesque since the very first show, after already spending more than a decade on burlesque stages. A lifelong dancer and unapologetic character chameleon, she’s just as happy serving sultry and commanding as she is getting weird, campy, comedic, or completely unhinged. Sass mixes strong movement and musicality with character work and a wholehearted commitment to the bit—whether she’s a glamorous seductress, ridiculous creature, pop-culture character, or something no one saw coming. One thing you can count on: you never quite know which version of Sass is walking onto that stage.
